Power Scheduling

Power scheduling lets you control when display devices are powered on and off. This reduces energy costs and extends hardware lifespan.

Setting Up a Power Schedule

  1. Navigate to the endpoint or device group
  2. Click Power Schedule
  3. Define on/off times for each day of the week

Schedule Options

Inspire supports multiple methods for controlling device power:

Holiday Schedules

Override regular schedules for holidays:

  1. Click Holidays in the power schedule panel
  2. Add dates when the display should be off (or on different hours)
  3. Holiday schedules take precedence over the weekly schedule

Group Power Management

Apply power schedules to device groups for bulk management. All devices in the group follow the same schedule unless individually overridden.

Energy Savings

The power schedule page shows estimated energy savings:

  • Hours per week the display is off vs always-on
  • Estimated kWh saved per month
  • Projected annual cost savings (based on configurable electricity rate)
